I am a California native and love living in southern California! I attended UCSB and found it way to hard to focus, too pretty. So I took an adventure on Semester At Sea in spring of ‘79 and earned college credits while sailing the world. Coming home with no money, returned to finish my college BA degree at Cal State Northridge.

During college, two things happened that would forever change my life. The first is I met my husband, Roy Rummelhoff, we were married the weekend after graduating from college. The second, I met a manager recruiting for State Farm.

In 1983, I was appointed as a State Farm Agent. What a wonderful opportunity. Also, in 1983, we moved to Moorpark. Being a part of the State Farm family has been very amazing. We have the amazing opportunity to help people everyday and make a positive difference in their lives, especially with life insurance, which plays a valuable part in everyone’s financial plan, especially when life brings unexpected events.

When I’m not working. I enjoying kayaking, being at the beach, walking, spending time with my family and grandchildren, traveling and spending time with friends. I am involved with several organizations. Moorpark Presbyterian Church and active in the women’s ministry and Bible Studies. Moorpark Chamber of Commerce-have been on the board and also an ambassador. Received Moorpark Chamber business of the year in 2009 and 2013. Member of Women’s Informational Network of Simi Valley (was woman of the year in 2012) and Moorpark Women’s Fortnightly club.

In 2000, we moved our agency to Moorpark. We now have a craftsman style home built in 1918 that is our office in downtown Moorpark. We just finished remodeling in 2021, stop by and see our new and improved office.
